Master English from the Inside Out
Speaking English is good. Being completely at ease in it is better. Over your time here, you'll strengthen all four skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) up to an advanced level, and you'll start to see how the language works from the inside. By the time you finish, English won't feel like something you study for exams. It'll just feel natural, like a language you truly live in.
Learn to Teach, and to Be Remembered
Explaining a lesson is easy. Making it stick is the real skill, and that's what you'll pick up here. You'll learn to plan lessons that actually work in a real classroom, teach with confidence, grade your students fairly, and keep everyone paying attention (which, honestly, is half the job). You'll also get comfortable using technology and AI in your teaching. By the end, you'll be the kind of teacher students remember and thank long after they've left your class.
Research, Create, and Reach Beyond the Classroom
This is where things get interesting. Your degree opens up more than you'd expect. You'll carry out real research and write your thesis (Skripsi), spend time with literary works that shift the way you see things, and build hands-on skills you can actually make a living from, like translation, English for business and hospitality, or even the first steps of starting your own education business.

An English Education degree from Universitas Klabat gives you a skill the whole world runs on, which is why our alumni end up in so many different roles: the educator, teaching in schools, courses, or online; the translator, working between English and Indonesian; the entrepreneur, running their own English course or translation business; or the professional, putting their language skills to work in hotels, offices, and companies. Our graduate data even shows plenty of alumni thriving in hospitality and office jobs, too. So this isn't a narrow path at all. You graduate with options, and that's the whole point.
